Looking for a TAZ Networks Service Desk Consultants need to be highly motivated, dependable, and professional. No work experience is needed for this position. This position can be either remote or work in our Brighton or Clinton Township location.
Service desk job responsibilities include answering support calls and troubleshooting issues remotely. You will be challenged by different environments and technologies on a daily basis. TAZ Networks Network Field Consultants need to be highly motivated, dependable, and professional. This position requires working in the office as well as working at multiple client sites, perhaps even in a single day. Responsibilities range from preventive maintenance to replacing network equipment. Superior customer service is of the utmost importance.
In addition, when in the office, job responsibilities include answering support calls and troubleshooting issues remotely.
Reliable transportation is required with a clean driving record. You must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle available to use when the company vehicle is not available. Your personal vehicle must have insurance and registration. Yearly requirement to provide an updated copy of a driving record and proof of insurance on a personal automobile. Physically, you must be able to drive for up to 2 hours at a time without medical restrictions. See below for additional details.

Providing superior service is the number one core ideal of TAZ Networks. Those who cannot provide superior customer service skills on the phone, in written communication, and in person should not apply.
Background check and drug screen required
Consultants are challenged by different environments and technologies on a daily basis.
Consultants must be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, to consult on technology issues while reporting and accounting for all time worked. Accurate documentation and time tracking and reporting are required.
Consultants are placed on a rotating schedule to monitor and respond to client needs after normal business hours.
Physically you must be able to sit and type for long hours with short breaks and lift 20 pounds. Physical requirements should be without medical restrictions. Emotionally you should be able to manage stress under pressure and be dependable.
Benefits include training and company-paid certification exams. Consultants should be prepared to pass one technical exam per year.
